Reach Out Overnight Shelter Programs provide
shelter, daily meals and case management to adults without homes in
South King County. This year the shelter will open on October 1, 2015 and operate through March 31, 2016. This is an expansion from five months of service to six months. Reach Out relies on partnerships with area
congregations, community organizations, businesses, and public and
private contributors, as well as many caring individuals and families.
The program’s goal is to serve those in need by providing support to
assist them in achieving self-sufficiency, in turn strengthening our
community. Each shelter season, Reach Out clients receive a warm meal in the evening, breakfast in the morning and leave for the day with a sack lunch. Thanks to the
hard work and contributions of many, Reach Out clients receive help that can lead to a stable living environment.
We welcome your support in any way that you are able and willing to give: time, energy, resources, monetary donations and prayers.
Reach Out Men's and Women's shelters are both currently closed but will open on October 1, 2015. Intake interviews are required prior to admittance into the program.
Intake for the 2015/2016 Season begins on September 14, 2015 at New Hope Christian Fellowship in Federal Way (31411 6th Ave. S) and will continue throughout the season on Tuesdays & Wednesdays 11am – 1:00 pm.
